Eid Mubarak!
Saha eidak!
Saha eidak!
Hope your are enjoying the fest.
Today I wanna recommend you some places at my city, where you get the definitly best food.
Lets start with italian food. For the best halal pizza you visit "Danial's bistro" / Dresdner str. The owner is ... I think Iraqi ... and makes great fluffy pizza, nearly every kind you'd like, everything halal.
The best Antipasti are in the same street but just on the other side inside the supermarket. These guys are really Italian and even if they are lil bit expensive its worth it to buy there. You get everything from cheesefilled hot pepper to baked calamaris.
You get the best indian food at the city center, its that street you go down straight from the mainstation, the restaurant is called "Indian garden". Yummie!
If you are in search of turkish stuff go to the turkish district and visit the one left hand from the "Haci baba" bistro. I donno wat its called these days bcs it changes its name always but its alright. They cook only two meals a day but u get wat u like mostly.
If you want algerian stuff (like me) you go to the "El Amir" bistro, Karl-Liebknecht-str., its cooked by Germans but the owner is Algerian and he watches wat they cook. It's not really the best but the best you can get here.
Theres another good bistro for Algerian food at Rossplatz near the city center but I think they are not Algerian at all, it just tastes Algerian.
Note that the last 3 bistros I recommended you are for guys like me who never pay more than 5 Euro for a dish and dont care for wat exactly they eat. If you'd ask one of the salesmen at these bistros for wat is in the food you will not get a defined answer just a "didnt cook it myself" mostly if they even understand u. But its all halal dont worry. If u dont speak turkish you are screwed at the turkish stores here and if u dont speak arabic you are screwed nearly everywhere except for there where the Germans go but believe me you wouldnt wanna eat there.
Donno if one of you guys will come to visit my city some day but anyway ...
